Summary Posted: Apr 9, 2024 Weekly Hours: 40 Role Number: 200546311 The HWTE EE team works on innovative electrical measurement solutions for Apple products. As the team leader, you will manage the System Design Engineering and Instrument Architecture organizations who are responsible for driving end-to-end electrical calibration and test, including requirements definitions and feature budget negotiations. The architecture team drives in-house and leveraged development and design of the tools used to measure electrical performance, and to support our overall HWTE metrology ecosystem. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Management experience of large, multi-faceted teams, with abstract objectives; success at developing organizational process to maintain clarity around objectives and tracking progress Design, troubleshoot and debug of electrical functional test equipment such as low noise audio signal digitizer, precise current meter, high speed switcher, efficient and fast power supply, etc. Prototype HW test systems for consumer electronics. Propose, review and implement validation plans. Circuit analysis and simulation PCB layout Data analysis, including modern (e.g. AI/ML) techniques Create and maintain functional test plans, trouble shoot test plan implementation Management of suppliers/manufacturing parters/test development schedule Review & influence module roadmaps; keep current with technology trends; Multi-functional collaboration with other module and SW teams Design for Test methodology and practice Description Description This work includes close collaboration with both internal and external technology, silicon and module development teams on new feature exploration and improvements, and a close partnership with our operational counterparts. This individual will lead a large, multifaceted organization with responsibilities including, but not limited to, traditional board test, custom controls development, next-gen I/O tooling, FPGA and FW development. This is a role with considerable external leadership requirements; being able to bridge understanding with senior leaders across different line of business and functional areas, set short and longterm strategic goals, and drive an organization through ambiguity while achieving cross-functional alignment. Transparency, presence in key meetings, and clear communication skills, written and verbal, are a must. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $192,700.00 and $351,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
