ACS Hybrid Compute ArchitectDescription -Responsibilities: The individual will be responsible for the architecture, construction, scoping, and technical leadership of future ACS software design. He, she or they will be a member of the ACS architecture team and provide forward looking vision of technologies and roadmaps. Specifically, the design of large scale composable computing orchestration and provisioning systems for high-performance and and large scale AI systems. The individual will work closely with senior HP technologists, external partners, and third parties in the design and delivery of industry leading solutions that will revolutionize the computing space. The individual will study and recommend areas of technology investment, partnerships, and acquisitions. He, she or they will provide the necessary resource scoping and investments to deliver on their respective software architectures. The individual will lead and mentor engineering staff of the design, quality and delivery. The individual will work with the broad program management and leadership team in the design. He, she, or they will have a talent for communication down an organization and up to the most senior leaders.Qualifications: The individual should have a senior level understanding of at-scale software development from cloud to edge. The individual will have a broad understanding of server and system provisioning within datacenters, public, clouds, or hyperscalers. The individual will have demonstrated understanding of modern UI/UX design. The individual should have an understanding of the technologies around distributed computing, composable computing, disaggregation, as well as hardware understanding of GPUs, NPUs, and memory hierarchies. The individual should have a solid understanding and security standards especially in server or datacenter architecture.The individual will have demonstrated experience in the software architecture, software design, and a track record of software delivery. The individual is experience in SaaS and client software design. The individual will have demonstrated experience in technical leadership in a software organization and be capable of leading a team indirectly and remotely.Graduate degree/PhD in computer science and 10 years experience.An understanding of CXL and server hardware technologies a plus.
