The role involves providing administrative support, managing event budgets, and coordinating logistics with vendors. Additionally, the role includes maintaining event databases, assisting with marketing efforts and collecting post-event data.Responsibilities• Assists in execution of seminars, conferences, field events, hospitality, limited-scale trade shows or on-line events.• Participates in providing administrative support including handling inquiries and providing information to attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors.• Assists in managing event/project budgets and tracking expenses.• Supports in the logistical planning and coordination of trade shows and events, and preparing event materials.• Facilitates communication with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for equipment, services, and materials.• Maintains accurate event databases, contact lists, and registration records, and updates marketing management systems as needed.• Assists with social media updates, email campaigns, and website updates related to in person and online events.• Collects and compiles post-event data, including attendee feedback and performance metrics, and assists in preparing post-event reports for management evaluation.• Supports priority projects with direction, maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and sharing information via standardized reports.Education & Experience Recommended• Four-year Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.• Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in event management, marketing, or a related field.Preferred CertificationsNAKnowledge & Skills• Banquet Event Orders• Billing• Branding• Business To Business• Customer Relationship Management• Data Analysis• Digital Marketing• Event Management• Event Marketing• Event Planning• Invoicing• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)• Marketing• Marketing Communications• Marketing Strategies• Project Management• Public Relations• Site Inspection• Vendor Management• Workflow ManagementCross-Org Skills• Effective Communication• Results Orientation• Learning Agility• Digital Fluency• Customer CentricityImpact & Scope• Impacts own work and acts as a team member by providing information, analysis, and recommendations in support of team efforts.Complexity• Learns to apply basic theories and concepts to work tasks.Disclaimer• This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $56,000.00 -- $70,500.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
