Join the Siri and Information Technologies team at Apple! The ML SEE Efficiency team is responsible for the building and standardization of processes and tools across product teams with the aim of improving quality of development and evaluation processes in a holistic manner. Siri product is delivered on all Apple platforms in 42 locales, and on-device. In order to drive quality of Siri user experience and make sure our Siri product pre-release is predictive of user experience in production, we test on device fleets in our labs. We are looking for a device and labs EPM: you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing lab operations, device acquisition, tracking device usage, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, in order to provide smooth reliable services to all our testing teams that need device fleets to generate data. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Highly motivated and able to drive issues across cultures. Excellent project management skills, experience working in a matrix organization. Excellent problem solver, using structured problem solving methodology to assign root cause, plus develop and implement corrective and preventative actions Excellent communicator who can translate high-level goals into tangible action plans Strong interpersonal skills, ability to concisely understand and communicate issues, and lead the team to a solution Exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results Excellent project leadership skills. Program / Project Management experience preferred. Knowledge of Apple hardware a plus, especially on specific hardware models Description Description Planning, forecasting, consolidation, reporting and analysis of device needs for testing and evaluation from each internal customer team Cross-referencing and supporting the lab report setups on the supply and status of devices: when they are delivered, when they are racked, when they are available online, etc. Collaborate and work with cross functional business partners to drive forecast Respond timely to emergency requests for additional hardware needs and out-of-band requests Collect and monitor device usage, both to refine future forecast and make sure labs are consistently online. Provide in-depth analysis (such as peak vs average) on the patterns of device demand from timing / SKU- needs / other dependencies such as Hyperloop so we can improve device usage Lead all aspects of deprecation of aged devices and replace them on a set schedule with updated models Track details and provide a big-picture view for the quarterly, fiscal year, and long-term roadmap guidance, for budget approvals, space planning and fulfilling new testing needs as the product evolves Education & Experience Education & Experience Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $107,500.00 and $179,100.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
