Job Requisition ID #24WD76792Position OverviewAs part of the People Experience organization, People Consultants share a mission to design and deliver a five-star experience enabling people managers. As a People Consultant, you will provide reliable and expert coaching and facilitation to Autodesk people managers in areas of engagement, performance management, and resolution of employee relations issues aligned to Autodesk culture code and global behavior standards. You will be active partners to COEs in the design, deployment and adoption of programs and initiatives.You have a passion for building relationships, the ability to balance corporate and client needs, be an experienced HR professional, with experience in high growth and global environments and the ability to see the bigger picture. You work well and collaborate within a matrixed and cross-geo team environment.This is an individual contributor role and will report to the Director of People Consulting for Americas and you will work fully remote.ResponsibilitiesManager coaching and employee relations, with an emphasis on performance managementDeploy, drive adoption and provide guidance around established HR programs and initiativesEmployee pulse survey insights interpretation and action plansConsultation leveraging regional expertise and knowledge of US and Canada employee practices such as complex labor and compliance, M&A -diligence and integration and new location set up or closures Minimum Qualifications5 + years relevant experience in a large companyBA/BS or equivalent work experienceHR generalist background (performance management, employee relations, compensation, M&A), with demonstrated progressive HR experience in complex situationsAdvanced coaching experience exercising judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for guiding and advising managers and employees on HR related mattersExperience with HR matters and employment regulations across the United States and CanadaExperience establishing and building healthy working relations and partnerships with clients, vendors, and peers in a matrix organizationExperience providing support to clients in multiple locations and work across time zonesAbility to think both creatively and analytically, and exhibit courage to spur innovationDemonstrated technical expertise, including Microsoft Office and remote communications toolsMust have experience in a fast-paced, high volume, ever-changing environment, with a passion for continuous improvement and bias towards executionUsing strong project and process management skills, the ability to think both strategically and operationally about established and non-established programs and processesStrong influencing, presentation and verbal and written communication skills; the ability to assert an "unpopular" opinion when necessaryAbility to travel 2-4 times per yearLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
