Centre of Excellence Business AnalystDescription -Job Summary• This role is responsible for formulating precise system scope and objectives, aligning user requirements with a deep understanding of technology, industry dynamics, and workflows. The role converts needs into accurate system specifications, manages requirements and change processes, and fosters relationships for scope management. The role leads projects, solves complex problems, and supports operational and strategic plans, demonstrating expertise in business and technology integration.Responsibilities• Formulates and defines system scope and objectives by considering user requirements along with a comprehensive understanding of information technology, business workflows, and industry demands.• Acts as a liaison between client and technical solutions/support groups, using strong communication skills to elicit, document, analyze and validate business processes, systems, and solution requirements.• Captures and documents needs, converting them into accurate system requirement specifications using advanced methodologies, processes, and tools.• Executes and coordinates requirements management and change management processes.• Cultivates and manages both internal and external relationships to facilitate the effective management of scope and expectations.• Participates in proposals, feasibility studies, implementations, and new business development.• Examines the business ramifications of integrating technology within the existing business landscape, considering its potential impact and relevance.• Formulates requirements specifications by using comprehensive understanding of the client's industry and business.• Solves difficult and complex problems with a fresh perspective, demonstrating good judgment in selecting creative solutions and managing projects independently.• Leads moderate to high complexity projects, delivering professionally written reports, and supports the realization of operational and strategic plans.Education & Experience Recommended• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in analytics, data science, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.Preferred Certifications• International Institute Of Business Analysis (IIBA) Certified• Certified Business Analysis ProfessionalKnowledge & Skills• Agile Methodology• Automation• Business Analysis• Business Process• Business Requirements• Business Systems Analysis• Computer Science• Data Analysis• Finance• Marketing• Process Improvement• Project Management• Salesforce• SAP Applications• Scrum (Software Development)• SQL (Programming Language)• Systems Analysis• Systems Development Life Cycle• User Story• Workflow ManagementCross-Org Skills• Effective Communication• Results Orientation• Learning Agility• Digital Fluency• Customer CentricityImpact & Scope• Impacts multiple teams and may act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process.Complexity• Responds to moderately complex issues within established guidelines.Disclaimer• This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
