Job Requisition ID #24WD76718Position OverviewAutodesk is looking for an experienced Sr Software QA Manager in our Pune, India location. Your focus is on data & collaboration features that serve as the foundation of Autodesk's Fusion Industry Cloud. You will work independently and collaboratively with peers to ensure that solutions are built with a long-term vision and align with enterprise platform requirements. You will also provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to the team, driving Agile software development, in a hybrid work model. You will define and ensure scrum teams achieve those set quality objectives. With a large focus on being a trusted partner for customers and our teams, you'll monitor automation progress and help define our end vision state. You'll lead a team of customer subject matter experts with a focus, to ensure that customer workflows are accounted for. You'll define and revise our testing vision. This job is a Hybrid from the Pune location, and you will be reporting to a US Director of Customer Engagement & Quality.ResponsibilitiesYou will recruit, coach, and develop a team chartered to provide data service solutions and features to internal consumers and external customersYou will lead team to support customers and solve customer incidents and issues. Help team to understand the importance of customer-centricity and build customer empathyGuide team to build Customer Trust in the service solutions, including the best resiliency, performance, scalability, and reliability. Advocate and build engineering excellence and service excellence in our developmentWork towards an automation north star and ensure teams are delivering on automation objectivesYou will enhance engineering and quality efficiency by observing the teams, identifying opportunities, and influencing the improvementPresent to multiple partners for team achievements, quality status, and issues escalation.Educate team members on how their work align with organisational goalsCollaborate with upstream and downstream teams to accomplish cross-organisational project goals, and promote collaboration as breaking silos and prioritising success over individual team successFind the right approach while facing uncertainties and support teams in navigating changesManage team's performance to ensure successful project completion. Inspire and motivate team members to achieve maximum productivity and optimal creativity. Support each team member in their pursuit of career development paths and opportunitiesMinimum Qualifications12-16 years of Professional Experience in Software Quality Engineer3+ years of Management Experience handling large-scale teamsUnderstanding of software development lifecycle, test methodologies, and standard processesExperience in hiring, building an inclusive team-based culture that strives towards best practices, measurable outcomesHands-on exposure on Automation testing side with web-based, client server application exposureMust have fundamentals in technology with front end & server-side testing, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, web technology, and AWS servicesExperience working on a scrum team developing cloud services; understand services architecture, development, and testing; understand Agile and Scaled AgileHave insights about common engineering practice challenges and had experience of leading team to fix/improve them, e.g. automation framework, Feature Flag practice, CI/CDPresent to large audiences and lead group activitiesWillingness to collaborate with colleagues across different time zones which may require limited work outside normal working hours#LI-AC3Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
