Job Requisition ID #24WD77039Position OverviewAn exciting career opportunity in the Entitlement team, in Autodesk that is critical to the Subscription Entitlement.The subscription service is one of the business enablers serving millions of customers every day. As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for building and owning systems serves entitlement to millions of active users worldwide.Main ResponsibilitiesCustomize, develop, and adjust Siebel 7.7 applications to align with specific project requirements and business objectives.Engage closely with product managers to understand business needs, translating these into detailed technical specifications.Implement Siebel solutions, including UI, business components, workflows, eScripts, and integration with external systems.Perform complex Siebel configuration and scripting to meet business process and application requirements.Lead testing and facilitate UAT and integration testing to verify the application meets all user expectations.Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve issues within the Siebel 7.7 application to ensure optimal performance.Document technical designs, release notes, and other project documentation to support development and maintenance.Contribute to development and testing of other entitlement systems beyond Siebel.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's / Master's Degree (in Computer Science or other engineering discipline.) or equivalent work experience5+ years hands-on experience of Siebel applicationBuilt ideas/methods through POCs on new technologiesExperience in 24x7 support of the highly available production systemsStrong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilitiesMust be extremely detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communicationPassion to run and improve the customer facing systems with high degree of availability - "Four Nines"Courage to own, recover and improve from incidentsPreferred/Additional Qualifications5+ years hands-on experience on the following:Continuous Integration: Git: GitHub, Git branching strategiesCI/CD: Jenkins Configurations, Integrations, Pipeline-as-code, Declarative and Scripted PipelinesProgramming languages: Python, NodeJs, JavaThe Ideal CandidateApplies judgment while working on codes of moderate size & complexity or requiring a high degree of ingenuity or creativityPragmatic and results orientedFlexibility under changing conditions and ability to multi-task between projects, able to work well in a team to meet team goalsExcellent verbal and written communication skillswillingness to take initiative and committed to deliver on timeKeen interest in new technologies and their timely adoptionWork inclusively and people with diverse backgroundWork with remote and international team membersLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
