You will be contributing to the testing effort as a member of a cross-functional team including Product Management, Development, UX, and Documentation. Responsibilities include understanding the architecture and design decisions, defining, and implementing new tests, evaluating the end-user experience, and asserting the overall quality of the feature.What this role isn’t: It is not just executing tests or maintenance of test jobs and pipelines. This isn’t a pure automation role, but one focused on a holistic approach to quality: manual, automated, accessibility, security, performance, and scalability. This isn’t a narrowly focused role on one service and one team, but an opportunity to collaborate with multiple teams globally.What you’ll bring to the table: We are looking for someone who is strong technically, but also a skilled communicator. You’ll coordinate with talented peers to identify risks and design test solutions to mitigate them. After learning about our product and process, you will contribute code to a shared automated testing project that includes tests executed daily and in multiple deployment pipelines.Some details about what you’ll do: • Provide Testing and Automation Strategy for newly developed Features• Participate in Planning meetings and ensure quality at all levels of SDLC• Develop test plans, test environments, and test scenarios for new product features• Maintenance of existing automation tests• Conduct Code and Test Plan review to ensure the quality of Test Cases, Test coverage, and Automation Code• Increase Automation confidence by reducing random test failures• Work in an agile team along with developers• Identify QA Risk and Mitigation Plans and ensure product delivery as per the release timeline.Minimum Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.• Should have 2-5 years of IT experience in software test automation• Strong analytical and communication skills• Should be a good team player who enjoys collaborating with othersRequired Skills:Expert knowledge of Selenium.Expert in Core Java or KotlinHands-on knowledge of TestNG framework or similar testing frameworkWorking knowledge in REST API automation.
