Position SummaryBlue Yonder is seeking an exceptional leader that is passionate about understanding our users and solving the problems they face to create experiences that delight. Reporting to the Chief Design Officer, you will lead a team of 8-10 associates and be responsible for elevating and activating data-driven insights to measure user success impact across solutions from release-to-release. Operating globally within several regions around the world, the team acts as a strategic thought partner, bridging opportunity gaps between product strategy and user needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, in product, customer success, and go-to-market, to ensure that our solutions are user-centric and data-driven. Together, we shape the future of Blue Yonder's products for the benefit of user satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement design strategies that align with the company's objectives; capturing stakeholder feedback to have alignment: early and often.Establish and oversee a shared-service program for UX research, field, and competitive intelligence to make data matter and matter more and more upfront prior to a PDR.Oversee the design research & insights team, ensuring efficient input and high-quality success metrics are leveraged across the SDLC for adherence; UX gates.Measure and refine business KPIs for user success, including feature usage, user satisfaction, accessibility, performance, and consistency.Monitor and report on the progress of the Experience program, ensuring value realization, proactive spikes in capacity and user adoption.Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure cohesion in strategy, program, and priorities for a seamless experience outcome.Lead the adoption of best practices in design thinking and user-centered design across the organization to support the UX Strategy & platform-first mindset.Foster a culture of discovery, creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the product experience team.Focus on capturing the value of UX outcomes in communication materials across internal business functions and release management. QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Psychology, or related field. Ideally in Library Sciences or HCI.12+ years of experience in design leadership roles with a strong portfolio of case-studies in enterprise design programsExperience in building and managing high-performing design teamsStrong understanding of design principles, design thinking and user experienceProficient in design software and technologies: Confluence, Figma, Jira and user measurement tools like PendoExcellent communication, leadership and project management skillsAbility to work with collaboratively with cross-functional teams-------------------------------------------The salary range for this positions is $212,361 - $275,639The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.
