We’re looking for an experienced Software engineer to join a team tasked withto support enabling best practices in development and CI/CD tooling.Scope:Design, Develop, and maintain CI/CD processes for enterprise SaaS using standard tools to support GitOps, including common tools to support DAST, SAST, IAC scanning, SCA, secret scanning, automated testing, and other development activities.Experience in designing and maintaining cloud-based tooling used to develop and support solutions deployed in with Azure, GCP, or other Cloud-based platforms.Provide standardized building blocks and automation to support application development and deployment across multiple clouds.Hands-on experience in GitHub actions, Python Scripting, using APIs within development tools to integrate and streamline processesAbility to work independently, develop and adhere to best-known coding practices with strong problem-solving skillsExcellent Verbal and Written Communication SkillsAbility to work independently with strong problem-solving skills.Closely work with various Development teams to troubleshoot environment-specific issues and provide a resolution.Hands-on experience in building and securing containers using Docker is a plusOur current technical environment:Software/Tools: GIT, Git Actions, Python, BlackDuck, Artifactory, JIRA, Docker. Knowledge of Java, React, C++, Rust, GCP/Azure as plus.Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event-driven, secure multi-tenant, Microservices architecture, Cloud Architecture: GCP/AzureFrameworks/Others: SnowFlake, Big QueryWhat you’ll do:*Lead and Automate common GitHub workflows related to CI/CD and security, ensuring they are properly parameterized or segmented so that they can be adopted across all teams* Automate GitHub governance workflows to apply required properties, rules, and required workflows across GitHub repositories* Automate and maintain common GitHub automation tooling to be shared/used across all teams* Automate standard metadata workflows from GitHub to keep JIRA, GitHub, BlackDuck and other common tools in synch with the current organizational requirements Qaulifications: Bachelor’s degree (STEM preferred) and minimum 7 years of software development experience in the DevOps domain;Minimum of five years experience in Automate, customize, and execute software development workflows right in your repository with GitHub Actions (GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure Repositories).Minimum of five years of experience working with Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or relevant technologies.Minimum of two years of public cloud experience (preferably Azure).Experience with monitoring tools (Monitoring: Elastic (ELK)/Prometheus/Grafana/AppDynamics)Strong Scripting knowledge of Shell/PythonCore understanding of virtualization, private, hybrid, and public cloud computing concepts.Well-experienced in key areas of Infrastructure as Code toolset.Strong systems platform skills in Linux, with some Windows expertiseExcellent team player and work with a go-get attitudeShould have good communication skills and effectively work with stakeholders and team as wellStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills*LI-SR1-------------------------------------------The salary range for this position is $99,208 - $143,896The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.
