SummaryWorkiva is looking for a Sr. Manager of Instructional Design to work as part of the Global Sales Communications and Content Operations organization .  You will work cross-functionally within the Go-To-Market organization to create best-in-class learning experiences that drive global revenue growth. You will refine and build a broad catalog of curricula and content to support the skills, knowledge, and processes that drive Workiva go-to-market using a broad range of delivery modes. You will have the opportunity to make a large impact on the experience of Workivians across the globe. We are looking for someone with experience in applying knowledge of learning science, design, and instructional technologies that scale. If you have a passion for educational development, and an obsession for technology this is the role you have been looking for.What You’ll DoBuild and nurture relationships with stakeholders to understand business and learning needs and drive solutionsCross-collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs in Sales Enablement, Commercial Operations, Product Marketing, and Sales Leadership to define learning objectives and develop knowledge assessmentsDesign learning experiences through engaging activities and practiceDevelop participant and trainer materials using a variety of delivery platforms Support the communication of learning deliverables to the appropriate audiencesUtilize the organization's methodologies, tools, and templates to develop learning deliverablesAlign training goals with overall corporate and departmental objectivesEvaluate and enhance the overall content design of existing Workiva curriculaOwn the worldwide instructional design strategy, including the standards, managing the program design process, and partnering with global learning program owners to create high-impact learning experiencesOwn the strategy for content quality to ensure bar-raising learning experiencesApply knowledge of measurement for leadership offerings, especially in setting up evaluation strategies What You’ll NeedMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree with 8 years related experience, or Master’s degree with minimum of 6 years related experience, or PhD with 4 years related experienceExperience creating curricula and assessments for sales audiencesProficiency with content creation tools like: Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, Articulate Studio, or CanvaExperience utilizing HighspotPreferred Qualifications3 years direct people management experience, including supervisory experience of entry-level managers and/or established individual contributorsExperience creating curricula for the go-to-market tech stack including Highspot, Salesforce.com, ZoomInfo, and SalesLoftExperience with Command of the Message methodology preferredBanking or financial services industry experience preferred Proven expertise in designing self-guided and instructor-led development solutions that scaleAbility to translate client expectations and needs into learning deliverablesTravel Requirements & Working Conditions Up to 10% Travel Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva officeHow You’ll Be Rewarded✅ Salary range in the US: $126,000.00 - $214,000.00✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits packageThe salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
