Chief Procurement OfficerDescription -Key ResponsibilitiesContinuously develop, manage, and optimize HP’s global supply base.  Develop a supplier eco-system that addresses supply issues impacting cost, quality, delivery, resiliency, sustainability, and assurance of supply.Partner with suppliers to create “advantaged” products or services that will defend or expand HP margins, inventory, cash flow, and other financial objectives.   Advance specific global commodity strategies by leveraging HP’s scale to negotiate world-class prices and ensure product availability and supply.Provide procurement leadership that impacts working capital components – inventory, accounts payable, etc. in close coordination with all areas of the Supply Chain, GBUs, and Commercial Organization.Provide proactive forecasting information to the businesses that predict and signal the nature and magnitude of all key component cost and availability increases and decreases.Has a track record of leading, organizing and executing large-scale strategic programs in procurement, operations, cost management, and digital technologies.Leadership:  Motivates the team with insight about the business. Has an eye for talent, can recruit diverse and capable talent who will bring positive change to grow the business. Strategic business-mind and ability to see the big picture; capable of connecting the dots and generating win-win solutions with multiple suppliers and partners.  Anticipates future opportunities and develops strategies to address them.
