HP is expanding the Climate Team to advance these goals in our supply chain.This position reports into the Climate Director and is focused on working with our suppliers to drive sustainability initiatives in order to meet our ambitious climate goals and supply chain environmental requirements.  In this position, you will support HP’s supply chain environmental and climate strategy through the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and projects to advance HP’s Sustainable Impact goals and objectives. At the Expert level, this individual will solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommend appropriate alternatives. The individual will be expected to work on problems of diverse complexity and scope; act as a team or project leader by providing direction to team activities and facilitating information validation and team decision making processes. They will exercise independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution, and possess the ability to handle most unique situations, seeking advice to make decisions on complex business issues.Responsibilities:Program manage HP’s Supply Chain Environmental program (e.g., document roles & responsibilities, develop and maintain dashboards, present progress on environmental targets and project milestones to management).Monitor and evaluate progress towards HP’s sustainable impacts goals including establishing and tracking indicators, results analysis, reporting, etc.Serve as a liaison between the Climate Team and HP’s internal Supply Chain organizations, and manage overall supply chain sustainability stakeholder relationships and cross functional work.Track, enable progress with any market access, reporting, and regulatory requirements. Ensure the team is able to meet these requirements. Work closely with data and reporting teams to ensure all supply chain sustainability data and reporting requirements are being implemented.Work collaboratively with other functions to support continual improvement of supply chain and logistics climate-related projects and programs, including documenting and updating process documentationDrive team alignment on HP’s external partnerships.Develop and deploy external and internal communications materials (e.g., trainings, contract language, FAQs) and respond to customer and internal inquiries.Partner with the Climate Team’s carbon footprinting experts to facilitate inclusion of primary supplier carbon and renewable electricity data into HP’s corporate carbon footprint.Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to support continual improvement of supplier-related climate-related projects and programs. Education and Experience Required:First level university degree; may have advanced university degree.Prior experience in carbon footprintIdeally, 4+ years in a supply chain functionKnowledge and Skills:Knowledge of key supply chain environmental related subject areas involving carbon footprinting, energy management/efficiency, renewable energy sourcing/finance, etc.Experience in project management, including managing budgets, timelines, and resources.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and high-level modeling tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated ability to think creatively and perform in a fast-paced, often-changing environment, self-motivated, ability to learn quickly and work nimbly and to tight deadlines.Very strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills; mastery in EnglishHP offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:Dental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insuranceHP US Benefits Guide for Recruiting: https://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetDocument.aspx?docname=c07065756Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $102,950 - $157,800 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
