The team promotes Workday’s core values with a strong dedication to our employees. The Product and Technology PMO team is hiring a Sr. Associate Program Manager to facilitate the release of new products, processes and corporate initiatives.About the RoleThe ideal candidate has a partnership mentality as they collaborate with cross-functional and global teams. We value the candidate who is analytical, process-minded, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while efficiently multitasking. In this role, you will: (i) Work across Engineering, Product, Legal and other Program teams to help achieve the Mission Statement of the team which is to lead on high priority, cross-pillar programs that are key to successful execution of the Company strategy, meet our commitments to customers and exceeding our customer expectations; (ii) Follow the Gold Standard for Project Management which the team uses; (iii) Facilitate effective meetings, frequently update project plans, and keep team members on track; (iv) Partner with Sr Program Managers within the team depending on the business need; (v) Use your experience to identify project risk and provide solution recommendations; (vi) Work at least 50% of time in a Workday office.About YouBasic QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or related business field2-3 years experience in Technical Project or Program Management. Awareness of Agile/Scrum/Kanban conceptsOther QualificationsStrong Excel, PowerPoint, or equivalent Google suite skills.Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)Good at organizing information, meeting notes, and project tasksComfortable working independently Able to produce creative solutions for process challengesComfortable handling competing priorities and resourcesStrong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to tailor communications to different audiences Good sense of humor; We like to have fun while we work!Certificate in Project or Program Management or Agile methodology is a plusOur Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
