Associate Scientist Intern – Technology Development

We are seeking an Associate Scientist Intern with a passion for developing and applying methods to detect proteins from liquid biopsy samples. The successful candidate will perform experiments to generate high-quality data in developing new technologies and in developing new biomarker assays. This person should have experience in molecular biology, eg. qPCR, ELISA, and/or lab automation. The candidate will work with innovative technology and collaborate with a highly talented and motivated team to address unmet research and medical needs. Responsibilities: Run qPCR assays and evaluate performance. Carefully inspect the run and run results and document the findings. Assist in identifying sources of limitation and in optimization. Perform data analysis and report results. Help with reagent preparation and organization. Required Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field. Understanding and experience in applying molecular biology methods such as qPCR, immunoassays. Strong analytical and laboratory skills. Must be self-motivated with a positive “can do” attitude and have good project management skills Strong communication skills and able to clearly articulate results and data. The hourly range for this full-time position is $25 - $30 per hour. Work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training determine our salary ranges determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
