System Integration Intern

We are seeking a System Integration Intern with a passion for developing and applying methods to test assay technology on a fully automated instrument system. The successful candidate will apply their technical expertise in evaluating instruments and identifying potential issues. The candidate will work with innovative technology and collaborate with a highly talented and motivated team to address unmet research and medical needs. Responsibilities : Collaborate with engineering and technology development teams to assess instrument performance. Author, maintain, and execute internal assay test protocols to test complex instrument modules. Maintain internal inventory of materials required for tests. Independently perform experiments and generate concise reports of data acquired. Assist with testing of next generation instruments and modules. Required Qualifications: Working towards or have a degree in engineering, biotechnology, biochemistry, or a related field with lab experience. Interest in applying technical knowledge to understand and evaluate instrument functions and their impact on assay performance. Comfortable using lab equipment such as pipettes, centrifuge, vortexer mixer, etc. Must be self-motivated with a positive “can do” attitude and independently execute tasks and projects. Strong communication, observation, and organization skills are required. Making customers our top priority; The hourly range for this full-time position is $25 - $30 per hour.
