We are actively involved in the deal evaluation from both product strategy and technical affinity and maturity point of view. We are engaged from pre acquisition diligence and planning through post acquisition product and technical integration, execution and alignment. Given the multifaceted nature of acquisitions, we are seeking an experienced result oriented, technically astute leader with the ability to influence and advise across functions and organizations to drive shared objectives and detailed plans!About the RoleThis position offers an opportunity to lead the critical acquisition integration evaluation, planning and execution responsibilities of future Workday acquisitions. The role we have will influence and accountability working alongside functional and technical leaders in the design, prioritization and execution of key activities throughout the lifecycle of a deal focusing on product integration and technical aspects such as security, architecture, development process, infrastructure and accessibility. The individual will need to demonstrate technical knowledge, high proficiency in strategy facilitation, cross functional decision making, overall process definition and tracking and exhibit operational depth across integration related subject areas. This role will primarily partner with business leaders and integration specialists in product and technology, with collaboration needs in corporate development, sales, services, finance, people & purpose, and other business functions. This is an ideal role for an integration specialist whose competence is cross functional, bringing to bear one’s ability to translate broad strategy into an execution plan working with multiple partners. You have a consistent track record of working effectively as a manager of cross functional teams through the acquisition integration process and you quickly build rapport with co-workers at all levels, ultimately acting as a trusted advisor. You have a high level of comfort with ambiguity, while simultaneously designing structure and organization for teams to produce desired outcomes.Basic QualificationsA degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience. (MBA or Masters is a desired).10 years’ experience in the industry with a solid technical background.Work experience in product development, product design, or technical product management.Other QualificationsDirect involvement in M&A execution and integration experience is a strong plus.Ability to work cross functionally and influence team members. Possess strong and effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to customize approach for a variety of audiences.Knowledge of end to end software lifecycle and related activities and consistent track record to facilitate sophisticated and time sensitive decisionsTunes into the unique needs of the audience and appreciates the tone and influence of the specific message at hand. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
