Join us on a mission that matters - one team, one fight.About the Role:The CrowdStrike IT Collaborative Applications team is looking for a Sr. Automation Systems Engineer with extensive experience researching, configuring and deploying automation systems, scripts and models within SaaS and On-Prem based systems/products within an enterprise organization.In this role you will be asked to proactively consult and advise IT leadership, business partners and core operational functions on key-automation considerations needed to solve highly complex, visible and business critical initiatives.What You’ll Do: Lead the discovery, solution and deployment of automation-focused initiatives, which are cross-functional and/or involving integration with one or more key enterprise systemsProvide deep system(s) expertise in integrating, automating and scaling systems through automation scripts, APIs development, and repeatable deployment processesOwn and maintain automation configurations, code-bases, scripts and run-books from design-stage through deployment, including QA, Release Management, Change Management and post-go live supportChampion visibility of enterprise systems focusing on API integrations and clean data pipelines for reporting, metrics and monitoringExperience working with internal and external stakeholders with effective communication skills and a drive to collaborate with cross-functional team including, Information Security, Legal & Compliance and Senior LeadershipSupport of and drive toward a Product Owner mindset optimizing value, decision making and engagement of assigned applications and systems.What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant experience8-10 years of experience with each of the following:Utilizing scripting, automation tools or development languages, such as Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, Python, JavaScript, GoUtilizing Git or version control-based systems and repositories such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Gitlab or CodeCommitMonitoring and logging and SIEM technologies such as Prometheus, Splunk, DataDog, Falcon LogScale (previously, Humio), etc.Working directly with Information Technology, Information Security, Compliance & Legal departments within an enterprise-level organization to scale operationsPromoting and utilizing a product owner mindset including its primary pillars of Product Ownership, Value, Decision Making and Engagement.Experience utilizing enterprise-level tooling for operations such as; ServiceNow, Jira, Slack, Google Workspace, Familiarity with Identity and Access Management principles, systems and configurationsFamiliarity with Information Security models, practices and principlesBonus Points: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experienceAWS Solution Architect or Certified Developer certification10-15 years of experience with the following:Working cross functionally with Senior Leadership driving the business proposition, value and cost-savings of effective automation solutions at scaleDeveloping and deploying scalable automation solutions within enterprise level organizationsWorking in a consultant or advisory capacity with a focus on organizational automation Leading automation teams on scaling automation operations #LI-AI1 #LI-SC1 #LI-JC3#LI-RemoteBenefits of Working at CrowdStrike:Remote-first cultureMarket leader in compensation and equity awardsCompetitive vacation and flexible working arrangements Comprehensive and inclusive health benefitsPhysical and mental wellness programsPaid parental leave, including adoption A variety of professional development and mentorship opportunitiesOffices with stocked kitchens when you need to fuel innovation and collaborationWe are committed to fostering a culture of belonging where everyone feels seen, heard, valued for who they are and empowered to succeed.
