Threat Intelligence & Investigations ManagerDescription -The Threat Intelligence and Investigations Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the threat intelligence and investigations functions within the HP Global Physical Security team. This role involves proactively identifying and assessing potential threats, as well as planning, coordinating, and conducting investigations into security incidents, human resource incidents, allegations, or potential breaches. The Threat Intelligence and Investigations Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders, intelligence agencies, and industry partners to gather and analyze relevant intelligence, conduct investigations, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance the organization's security posture.Responsibilities:Develop and manage the organization's threat intelligence and investigations programs, including defining the scope, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with the HP Global Physical Security team mission. Monitor, collect, and analyze intelligence from various sources, including open sources, law enforcement agencies, intelligence agencies, and industry partners to identify potential threats and risks to HP property, people, and assets. Conduct comprehensive threat assessments, including identifying emerging threats, analyzing threat actors' capabilities, tactics, and motivations. Coordinate and oversee investigations into security incidents, human resource incidents, allegations of misconduct, fraud, theft, or other breaches of HP policy or law. Collaborate with internal teams, such as Supply Chain, IT, Executive Protection, HR, Legal, and executive management, to provide timely threat intelligence, investigative support, and recommendations. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as industry groups, government agencies, and security vendors, to enhance threat intelligence capabilities and support investigations. Stay abreast of the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in the threat intelligence and investigations fields and recommend improvements to the HP Global Physical Security programs. Conduct interviews, collect statements, and gather evidence in a thorough, ethical, and legally sound manner during investigations. Analyze information and evidence to identify patterns, trends, or potential vulnerabilities and make recommendations to mitigate risks. Prepare detailed and accurate reports, including threat intelligence assessments, investigation findings, conclusions, and recommendations for corrective actions. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to threat intelligence, investigations, privacy, and evidence handling. Provide guidance, support, and training to other members of the corporate security team in threat intelligence and investigative techniques. Coordinate and support incident response efforts by providing threat intelligence insights and investigative expertise. Produce and deliver presentations to executive management and other relevant stakeholders on threat intelligence findings, investigation updates, and key recommendations. Provide auxiliary support to HP Global Physical Security Regional Security Managers by overseeing day-to-day operations or emergency response. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as cybersecurity, intelligence studies, criminal justice, investigations, or a similar discipline. Or 10 years of experience in related fields. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.Background in threat intelligence analysis and conducting investigations, preferably in a corporate security or law enforcement setting. Strong knowledge of threat intelligence methodologies, investigative techniques, and legal requirements. Familiarity with intelligence gathering techniques, digital forensics, evidence collection, and chain of custody protocols.Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and analyze information from multiple sources. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to conduct effective interviews, present complex information clearly, and convey findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to threat intelligence, investigations, privacy, and evidence handling. Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and handle sensitive and confidential information. Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, investigations, and projects simultaneously.
