Employee Relations is a global team that partners with executives, managers and employees throughout all levels of the organization, as well as the People Business Partners and Employment Law, in working through employee issues and concerns.
The Manager, Employee Relations Business Partners will report to the Director of Americas Employee Relations and direct a team of Employee Relations Business Partners (ERBP) who provide policy interpretations, advising on misconduct and performance issues, investigations, and decision reviews. Key objectives include hiring, training, development, coaching and performance assessment of the ERBPs, to ensure consistency, legal compliance and adherence to Apple policies and processes. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications 8+ years HR experience and 3+ years experience managing employee relations issues Ability to effectively lead and align a team of ER specialists Deep knowledge of U.S. domestic employment law Track record of developing, motivating and inspiring a team of professionals Demonstrable ability to balance multiple priorities, stakeholders and work streams Strong facilitation and business partnership skills Superb communication skills including effective listening, writing and presentation Demonstrable ability to influence others Ability to conduct effective investigations Description Description - Build strong and effective partnerships with all levels of management, People Business Partners, other Employee Relations leaders and HR Legal - Develop, communicate and implement employee relations programs, policies and procedures - Work with other ER leaders to ensure consistency of practice, processes and investigation outcomes - Use available data to identify trends and develop proactive strategies to foster positive employee relations in the business - Manage ERBP team; lead to aligned vision and goals - Mentoring, coaching & developing team members, lead remote employees - Conduct investigations related to ER issues raised - Provide advice & guidance to managers on serious/complex ER issues, act as a point of escalation Education & Experience Education & Experience BA/BS or equivalent is preferred Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,400.00 and $264,100.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
