These essential capabilities provide smooth, compliant, and consistent experiences for all users, customers, and partners associated with Autodesk.Reporting to the Senior Manager of Engineering, you will lead a team of software engineers responsible for building and delivering solutions in the area of membership and eventing for the common Identity platform. In this hybrid role, you will lead a team developing modern cloud services, in an Agile environment.ResponsibilitiesYou will build and guide a high-performing team while inspiring them to remain at the cutting edge technology.You will develop staff by coaching, mentoring, facilitating career aspirations and providing growth opportunitiesYou will regularly communicate with team members, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluationYou will build partnerships with the Software Architects, Technical leads, Product Owners, Product Managers and Experience DesignersYou will create inspiring and psychological safe team environment, fostering continuous improvement and iterationYou will provide insight, feedback, and recommendations to senior management regarding the development, capabilities, and potential of current and future software projectsProvide leadership in areas of quality, security, scalability, and resiliencyHelp design and build solutions, frameworks, automation, and orchestration for a broad range of applications and infrastructuresCollaborate with a geographically dispersed team and stakeholdersTake complete ownership of the initiative and deliver it end to end while working with stakeholdersMinimum QualificationsBS in engineering, computer science, or equivalent industry experience10+ years of relevant industry experience, with 5+ years of hands-on technical leadership and 2+ years of experience managing development teamsPreviously managed teams of engineers with ownership of high-scale production systemsExperienced in one or more of the tech stacks and tools that includes AWS, Golang, C#, Python, Java etcExperienced in creating telemetry for the service using Splunk, New Relic, Datadog or their equivalentsExperience with big-picture thinking, able to resolve complex and ambiguous issues from a business and technical perspectiveSolid understanding of software development lifecycle, principles, practices, and methodologiesHave insights about commo`n engineering practice challenges and experience leading teams to fix/improve themExpert experience with Scrum and Agile development processes and methodologiesExperience working with remote teams and other cross-functional stakeholdersWillingness to collaborate with colleagues across different time zones, may require limited work outside regular working hoursPreferred QualificationsYou understand what it takes to build and support highly scalable and reliable cloud web services.You know how to motivate and inspire your teams to be as effective as possible.You can spot and attract amazing talentYou have a passion for being a mentor and a teacherYou can manoeuvre sometimes vague requirementsYou have a passion for continuous deliveryYou understand your job is to sometimes stay out of the wayLast but not least, you know how to execute and have have the ability to deliver on your team's vision incrementally#LI-PW1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
