You will be responsible for driving standardisation and continuous improvement in systems, processes and business operations to achieve sales objectives. You will also support insights driven decision making by driving adoption of analytical resources into sales users’ daily operations.Please note that this is a hybrid role, with 2-days per week required onsite in Cambridge, UK. This is a 13 Month Fix Term Contract to start July 2024Illumina's employee benefits are industry-leading and include, flexible time off, private medical insurance, compassion and care time off, leisure travel insurance, pension, employee stock purchasing program, volunteer time off, and much more!Closing date for applications: Friday 12th April 2024All about the role:Coordinates efforts related to dashboard design, user enablement, including support resources, engagement and training eventsProvides ongoing system & sales supportProactively communicate best practices, change notices, and announcements to the sales staff and sales leadershipOwnership of regional Commissions queries due diligence and process ownershipFacilitate the Enterprise Territory Management process for territory change management including oversight of decision making and recommendations on redesign executionCoordinates with global and regional sales training to ensure effective content delivery to sales, sales management, and sales support personnelParticipates in regional/global projects relating to process improvement and/or system implementation as a subject matter expertSupports content creation/development for internal Sales Operations siteRepresents Europe Sales Operations on cross functional activitiesProactively identify opportunities for sales process improvementPartner with internal resources to manage suite of Prospecting Tools to support top of funnel sales activityDrive adoption of new commercial resources/tools through end user education, training and on-boardingAdvise sales users on how to best leverage reporting to drive actionable insightsEnsure sales team alignment to sales processes, policies and proceduresProvide User Acceptance Testing support for new CRM functionalities roll out, business requirements for future enhancements, user training support for enhancement roll outs & user feedbackFosters close, cooperative relationships with peer leaders, sales management, and sales and support personnelPreferred Experience & Skills:Numerically astuteStrong analytical, organizational, problem solving, critical thinking and project management skillsStrong sales, financial and analytical background with attention to detailDemonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and communicate across all levels of the organization to execute mutually beneficial solutionsEffectively and concisely communicates complex topics with strong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to multi-task, work in team settings, and work independently when requiredSelf-guided in identification, prioritization and execution of deliverables and projectsAbility to work under pressure to targets or deadlinesAbility to effectively lead, plan and execute on plans for process improvement Ability to evaluate solutions from both a near term and long-term perspective Ability to position initiatives, decisions, and outcomes to diverse audiences Ability to influence cross functionally and solve complex problemsAbility to handle multiple tasks, embrace change, and innovate in a fast-paced environmentExcellent computer skills – proficient with Microsoft Office and diagramming software (e.g. Lucidchart, Visio)Experience working with Salesforce.com and IBM Planning Analytics is a plusPrevious experience within a client or customer facing role (e.g. sales, sales operations, customer service or commercial support) is preferred.What Can You Expect Our team members are bright, energetic and dedicated - they are the driving force behind our innovation and impact.
