Commodity Quality Program ManagerDescription -Job Description:HP Personal System Quality (PS Quality) is hiring quality project manager position in Shanghai. We are looking for people with proved record of working knowledge of Quality management or Quality Engineering, Experience in panel quality management is preferred. The scope of work is commodity quality improvement, customer escalation management, focusing on the prevention of field quality issues, working with cross function team for managing commodity field quality performance (ARR) to achieve goals, leading quality initiatives for accelerating commodity quality improvement, implementing commodity reliability demonstration tests and ORT tests at ODM/OEM sites, working with OEM partners on commodity quality improvement, communicate commodity quality performance with stakeholders. Responsibilities:Define, review commodity quality goals with internal/external team.Develop, optimize, and implement commodity supplier’s quality management governance process.Review and monitor quality metrics, drive commodity supplier’s quality performance to goal.leading quality initiatives for accelerating commodity quality improvement.Drive commodity supplier to support field issue resolution through FA/8D review.Work with commodity core team on preventive action implementation.Commodity GoG preventive action validation in NPI phase.Execute commodity reliability demonstration tests and ORT tests at ODM/OEM sites.On-site audit.Education and Experience:Bachelor's or Master’s degree in ME/EE Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.10+ years’ Experience in panel design/factory quality or engineering.Lean Six Sigma project management experience in running black blet project or green blet project.PMP certification is plus. Knowledge and Skills:Strong leadership in supplier quality management and relationship management.Excellent analytical, statistical and problem-solving skills, a solid 8D methodology in the works.History of innovation with examples of developing new technical, engineering and/or manufacturing processes.Ability to effectively communicate program management architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at business unit levels.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.Strong quality process audit experience.Job -EngineeringSchedule -Full timeShift -No shift premium (China)Travel -Relocation -Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO) - HP, Inc. provides equal employment opportunity to all employees and prospective employees, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, sexual orientation, age, disability, or status as a protected veteran, marital status, familial status, physical or mental disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic predisposition or carrier status, uniformed service status, political affiliation or any other characteristic protected by applicable national, federal, state, and local law(s).Please be assured that you will not be subject to any adverse treatment if you choose to disclose the information requested.
