The eBay comms team has delivered many high profile campaigns in these categories, from the ground-breaking Love Island partnership to the launch of Authenticity Guarantee for handbags, watches, jewellery & sneakers. We are looking for someone to bring their experience and knowledge to take eBay’s lifestyle comms to the next level.Responsibilities:You will lead proactive end to end comms campaign development and execution – you will be responsible for developing highly integrated PR programmes which support eBay’s business objectives, spanning consumer activations, exec profiling and business story telling.Be part of cross-functional working groups for vertical-specific go to market plans and deliver essential communications counsel to internal partners.Be a strategic thought partner to the business, demonstrating industry understanding and customer insights- be willing to challenge, test and learn.Manage budgets, multiple work-streams and agency teamsFoster strong media relationships with fashion, lifestyle and luxury media to build eBay’s reputation and credibility in these critical categories.Skills & experience required:6-8 years working on recognised brands in a fast-paced, PR environment, either agency or in-house, with proven experience in the fashion industryWe’re looking for someone who is a nimble and creative storyteller, has a penchant for cross-team collaboration, a proactive and energetic approach, impeccable judgement, presentation and communications skillsA natural flair for news and social trends coupled with excellent news and editorial judgement and an in-depth understanding of how the media operatesAbility to interpret data quickly and create genuinely interesting and relevant media pitches and story opportunities.Understanding of the UK media landscape and established relationshipsExperienced in delivering campaigns which engage the fashion communityExperienced in briefing spokespeople, drafting media q&as, statements and releasesStrong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
