In this role, you will be responsible for keeping up to date with the footwear industry trends, sneaker releases, and collaborations with all retailers, from streetwear to high fashion. You make sure the sneaker is authenticated as well as spot manufacturer defects, assess wear, and inspect sku and size ensuring that each buyer receives the best experience possible. The right candidates will have experience detecting counterfeits and know the indicators to confirm an item’s authenticity. While a multi-brand background is preferred, brand specialists will be considered.Responsibilities:Evaluate preloved and new products from major fashion brands to ensure their authenticityPerform an inspection to confirm the item’s description and condition are consistentReport counterfeit items with succinct and specific findingsStay well-versed on current brand trends & developmentsBe comfortable in a fast-paced facility environmentAchieve quality metrics and productivity goals dailyProactively communicate with managers about daily activities and obstaclesWillingness to work in a warehouse environmentRequirements:Previous authentication experience in a related field requiredFluent in German languageYou are a fashion expert and have a strong sense of the category, passion for SneakersAnalytical and problem-solving skills ability to research and address concernsStrong attention to detail and accuracyFlexibility to evolving work-flows and responsibilitiesExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal)Ability to work autonomouslyCapacity to work on your feet for several hours & lift 15kg as needed.Knowledge of standard operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, Slack, etc.Benefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day.
