An overview of this role The Contract Manager (Procurement) will be responsible for managing the contracting process for procurement, partnership, event (both hosting and attending), and other non-revenue based commercial relationships. At the direction of leadership, the Contract Manager (Procurement) will review and negotiate a wide range of contracts to support various groups across GitLab. For more detailed information on the procurement team and process at GitLab, check out this handbook page.   What you’ll do    Draft and negotiate a wide range of contracts including services, consulting, marketing, licensing, non-disclosure, data privacy, and other commercial and technology related agreements Perform risk analysis review for all contractual documents and recommend mitigating options Understand the Company and products in order to identify risks, develop solutions, mitigation and negotiation strategies Partner across multiple organizations within GitLab to meet timelines and milestones  What you’ll bring  3-5 years of contracts drafting, reviewing and negotiation experience at a software technology company BA/BS required. JD, paralegal certificate, or equivalent work experience preferred. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Colorado/Washington pay range $67,200 — $136,800 USD California/Hawaii/New York/New Jersey pay range $67,200 — $144,000 USD Country Hiring Guidelines: GitLab hires new team members in countries around the world.
