Autodesk's Emerging Media and Entertainment Technology division is hiring Machine Learning Engineers to work on innovative projects that help our customers imagine, design, and make a better world. Reporting to our Director of Research, you will help us with implementing and improving ML models while applying best practices for AI Research. You'll apply ML methodologies and tools to a wide array of data and use cases and help shape the future of media and entertainment technology.ResponsibilitiesImplement and enhance new ML models and AI techniquesApply best practices for AI Research and lead by exampleWork collaboratively on research projects within a globally-distributed teamSupport research through building experimental pipelines and prototypesHandle data processing and preparation at scaleConduct model training and hyperparameter tuningAnalyze model errors and design strategies for mitigationCollaborate with the Advanced Engineering team to implement effective AI solutionsMinimum QualificationsBSc or MSc. in a related AI/ML field such as, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics (or similar)8+ years of experience in software development, developing clear solutions for complex problemsCoding skills in Python and/or C++Understanding of fundamental CS algorithms and their scaling behavior with a background in statistical methods for Machine LearningDeep Learning techniques (Network architectures, regularization techniques, learning techniques, loss-functions, optimization strategies, etc.)Experience with data modeling and data architectureExperience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other standard deep learning frameworksExcellent documentation skills for code and software architectureComfort with ambiguity and the ability to learn and adapt in newly forming areasOutstanding visual and verbal communication skillsEffective interpersonal skills and a growth mindsetPreferred QualificationsWe appreciate experience with one or more of the following:Computational geometry and geometric methods (e.g. shape analysis, signal processing, topology, differential geometry, discrete geometry, functional mapping, geometric deep learning, graph neural networks)Diffusion modelsPassion for entertainment and media, skills in the use of creative softwareExpertise in network architectures, process automation, batch processing, artefact check-pointing, resilience managementMulti-modal deep learning and/or information retrievalNatural Language ProcessingReinforcement LearningPhD in a AI/ML related field#LI-Hybrid#LI-CD2Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
