The Role:Human factors account for 74% of breaches with human email and human identities classified as the primary attack vectors for initial compromise and privilege escalation/lateral movement, respectively. Utilizing the power of Proofpoint People Protection solution suite, specifically Sender Security & Authentication and Identity Threat Defense, customers fortify their environments and remediate both impersonation and identity risk. As an Inside Sales Specialist within the Advanced Technology Group, you collaborate with Proofpoint Commercial Account Teams, qualify, and close both Sender Security & Authentication and Identity Threat Defense opportunities within Proofpoint accounts. The successful specialist will:• become an expert on Proofpoint Sender Security & Authentication and Identity Threat Defense tools.• build trusted relationships with account teams.• interact confidently with a wide variety of enterprises at both the management and technical levels.• work closely with customer success, and renewals. Your day-to-day:60% Actively engage with customers and prospects via phone/web/in-person as a subject matter expert.15% Work closely with the Proofpoint Account teams to identify and qualify strategic sales prospects then drive the sales process to the point of “technical win”.10% Interact with the management team directly, via team meetings and via forecasting tools to provide critical updates and strategic account planning.10% Plan, coordinate, and deliver (in-person and web-based) solution overviews and product demos for large customer, partner, and internal audiences.5% Team up with our rapidly expanding channel partner network to drive both net-new and incremental revenue.
