We are hiring a dedicated senior resource to modernize and manage our Performance review cycles and design, socialize and execute high-value programs to foster career progression (e.g. internal mobility program, competency & leveling guidelines, career pathing, talent reviews, DEI-focused development). What You’ll Do:Partner with the Senior Director of Talent Management & Learning to reimagine and implement a modern performance program at Sonos.Partner with the larger People Team to create connected, leading edge performance and people culture experiences that drive business results.Effectively design, implement, and evaluate performance management strategies.Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and translate that into Performance Development strategy. Drive clarity around our advancement criteria & promotion process, including ushering new programs that support employee and leadership development.Oversee the talent management programs that accelerate our Performance & Careers strategy, like talent mapping & reviews, internal mobility, and career paths.Explore opportunities to leverage automation, GenAI, and other advances in technology to enhance the manager & employee performance experience.Plan and manage the Performance Development cycles.Be flexible to fill in gaps on the team where needed (an expectation of all team members).What You’ll Need:Research shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds often don't apply for roles if they don't meet all the criteria. Even if you don’t have 100% of the skills listed, we strongly encourage you to apply if interested.Basic Qualifications5+ years of experience in program or project management within HR, Talent Management, People Programs, or related fieldsExperience tailoring performance review processes Experience leading performance management programs; leading the process while identifying and implementing improvementsAvailability in US time zones for maximum collaboration with majority of stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsPassion for enabling world-class employee experienceExperience tailoring performance review processes at multiple companiesExperience with organizational design and developmentExperience leading complex cross-functional projectsExcellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral)Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadershipStrong familiarity with modern tools/technologies in a corporate business environment (i.e. zoom, google suite, slack)Creative problem solver; naturally curious and can quickly research issuesCan successfully deal with a fast-paced environment with competing priorities across multiple stakeholder groupsOwnership and the ability to find solutions and a path forward even in ambiguous situationsAble to analyze information to find trends or diagnose problem areas#LI-RemoteAt Sonos we consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, which may lead  individual compensation to vary depending on job related qualifications, skills, and experience.  All full time employees are eligible for merit increases, discretionary bonuses, and equity.  Our job postings may span more than one career level and the base pay range may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions.
