This is a remote position that could be based anywhere in the United States.Calix is helping the next generation of broadband service providers build an entirely new business model by reshaping the way that they interact with their subscribers today. Calix is transforming service providers’ business through the power of cloud-based analytics and fast-to-market software solutions.We're expanding our Sales Team and seeking a Regional Sales Executive who will be focused on working with to target and sell Calix’s full portfolio. You will also participate in the creation and execution of the Calix account strategy to deliver maximum revenue potential across the various Calix offerings. This includes managing the complete and complex sales-cycle, often presenting to C-level executives the value of our full suite of Cloud applications, Access Networking, and Revenue Edge suites.Responsibilities and Duties:Developing strong relationships and acting as the trusted advisor to our customers to ensure we are well positioned, and clients are aligned to our strategy and the full suite of Calix solutions.Maintaining existing account relationships and introducing new Calix offerings to customers and prospects in assigned territory.Managing the complete and complex sales cycle.Competing for and winning new accounts, growing revenue, locking out competition, and identifying new opportunities.Experience working in virtual teams, with local sales account teams, solutions engineers, customer success and overlay sales teams to manage sales cycles.Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; and recommending profit and service improvements.Continuously growing professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and other content, establishing personal networks, benchmarking best practices, and participating in professional and industry organizations.Functional orchestration of assigned resources.Qualifications:Must have 7+ years of related experience.Preference for a candidate with experience selling into Tier 2 customersExperience selling cloud or SaaS solutions.Sales and account management experience.Experience using sales tracking or customer relationship management (CRM) software.Prospecting and lead generation, nurturing and closing experience.Sales planning and organization skills.Customer-focused expertise resulting in deep customer relationships.Communication, collaboration, and Presentation skills.Problem solving.Excellent customer service and sales skills.Strong verbal and written communicator.Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.Must have a valid driver's license.25% travel requirementLocation:Remote-based position located in the United States.#LI-RemoteCompensation will vary based on geographical location (see below) within the United States.
