This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate tracking, validation, Auditing of all end-user & logistics in stock inventory assets in ServiceNow and onsite, resulting in up-to-date data on orders, stock, deployments, and disposals. You'll play a crucial role in fulfilling responsibilities by maintaining accurate records, addressing hardware escalations, and resolving any data or asset gaps!What we'll do:Process raised asset-related tickets and requests, ensuring timely resolution.Participate in monthly hardware audits and weekly hardware validation reviews.Validate hardware/peripheral deliveries and process purchase order receipts.Manage global stock of hardware and peripherals, including end-of-life (EOL) hardware.Maintain inventory in the TFO location and oversee asset management.Validate missing assets and approve hardware repairs.Serve as the subject matter expert on IT hardware asset management.Act as an escalation point for asset-related issues.Govern and evaluate stock rotation procedures, aligning purchase records with asset lifecycle requirements.Manage logistics escalations queue and provide necessary reports related to asset management and contractor SLAs.Assist in developing and maintaining logistics policies, processes, and procedures (SOPs).Analyze and report on asset burn-through weekly/monthly, tracking spend accurately.Evaluate inventory records quarterly and report on request trends and low stock warnings.Participate in project work as required, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.Review and test SOPs bi-quarterly, updating and releasing them as needed.Facilitate communication and training related to IT asset management.Participate in quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with vendors.Review upcoming NHO (New Hire Orientation) requirements weekly.Conduct physical visits to logistics stock rooms/hubs to ensure consistency to standards and identify efficiency opportunities.What we'll achieve:Improve cost management by accurately tracking and managing IT assets to minimize costs and avoid overspending.Improve security by ensuring all IT assets are accurately run and secure, implementing policies and procedures for handling sensitive information.Improve efficiency by optimizing the use of IT resources and ensuring accurate maintenance and utilization of assets.Improve compliance with legal and regulatory requirements by ensuring accurate EOL of IT logistics hardware. - Provide valuable data and insights to decision-makers for IT hardware forecasting - Mitigate potential risks related to IT assets, such as lost or stolen devices and End of life wiping processes and proceduresAt Workday, we are committed to encouraging diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location.
