The role ensures marketing plans are developed and executed by the regional field marketing managers, in partnership with local sales leadership to form one consolidated plan. The Field Marketing Director oversees the field marketing budget to deliver ROI for the EMEA sales and marketing teams. The Field Marketing Director, EMEA reporting to the Sr EMEA Marketing Director, is an organised, multi-tasking marketing leader who learns and adapts quickly and communicates effectively in a fast-paced B2B environment.Roles and responsibilities Develop the EMEA field and channel marketing plan so that it aligns with global marketing plans and messaging, regional goals and sales targets. Ensure unique regional plans adhere to this strategyProvide leadership to support the regional marketing managers in reaching their goals and those of the local sales and channel teamsEnsure alignment of cohesive and collective programs across EMEAOversee and manage the EMEA field marketing budget (field and MDF) and report on key KPIs for regional campaigns and activities Support regional marketing team to work with sales to identify suitable accounts for multi-channel campaignsFacilitate support for regional marketing programmes from local sales teamsBe highly visible with senior Sales leadership and establish and maintain regular cadence of communication with Sales leaders and functional leads (Finance/Procurement/Legal)Ensure fast, clear communication of all relevant marketing activities and tools to relevant stakeholders, and collect regular feedback Work collaboratively with marketing departments in EMEA and around the globe to develop integrated campaigns and ensure regional campaign requirements are identified and supportedIncludes participation in cross functional committees and projects outside of MarketingBackground and experience Bachelor level degree or similar qualification/experience 10 + years in B2B marketing role, preferably in the technology sector and with experience of working in a SaaS organisation5+ years in marketing leadership role, with experience managing a large and dispersed team in a fast paced B2B environment Proven experience working with regional sales teams and supporting programs to drive awareness, pipeline and salesSuccessful marketing campaign planning, execution and reporting Ownership of marketing budgets Second language preferable Key Skills Experience of managing, mentoring and motivating a large team and aligning marketing focus with regional sales goalsAbility to communicate plans to key stakeholders, gather feedback and adjust plans where necessaryExcellent relationship builder with all stakeholdersDrive consistency and collaboration with the EMEA and global marketing teamsBe a brand ambassador in EMEA, allowing for regional distinctions Comfortable working with and sharing best practice with peers in APCJ, LATAM and AMERStrong marketing operational skills - knowledge of CRM (SFDC), reporting and budgeting programmes such as SFDC, Tableau and Allocadia essentialStrong budgeting and financial analysis experience essential Experience of planning multi channel campaigns and using intent data tools to create target account lists Strong oral/written communication skillsAbility to consistently produce results on time and within budget Adaptable to fast moving business landscapes Ability to travel as required to support the field marketing team The Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.
