Apple's Hardware Engineering Program Management Team is looking for a resourceful, energetic teammate who will help us lead key areas of Hardware Engineering projects. In this role, you will work with Engineering Project Managers, Electrical Engineering, Product Design, Finance, HW Tech, as well as numerous other teams to manage the planning and execution of early development builds. You will lead project-related communications by raising key issues and presenting options for resolution to cross-functional partners, manage budgets and material procurement for development builds, and work on multiple projects simultaneously. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Proactive and highly self-motivated; good critical thinking capabilities and strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to react to resets and changes in a fast-paced environment Strong team player who demonstrates initiative to foster teamwork/collaboration STRONGLY PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED: Experience as primary point of contact with vendors and CM partners Experience working with multiple different teams in a R&D environment Description Description In this role you will be responsible for supporting critical development builds which involves planning, procuring, reporting, and overseeing the distribution of material and prototypes in partnership with numerous teams. You and your team will handle hardware prototype allocation planning and management as well as the SoC distribution. You will also track expenses for each development build and create and maintain a project budget, submit purchase requisitions, maintain invoice tracking, and provide payment authorization.
