The Health Sensing team builds best-in-class technologies to support our users in living their healthiest, the happiest lives by providing them with objective, accurate, and timely information about their health and well-being. As part of the larger Sensor SW & Prototyping team, we take a multimodal approach, using a variety of sensors across HW platforms, such as camera, PPG, inertial motion, temperature. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Statistical analysis of large datasets to develop experiments and KPIs to measure algorithm performance and guide ML and study design. Analyze and improve efficiency and stability of algorithms deployed to user devices Define key performance indicators to assess model performance with a focus on user experience. Working with ML Scientists & Engineers to assess parity between ML prototypes and implementation. Work cross-functionally with prototypers, software developers, and data scientists to define, socialize, and enforce development practices to ensure the highest quality of design & implementation. Hands-on experience with large scale data solutions with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g. MapReduce, Spark) and crafting/optimizing scalable frameworks to run machine learning experiments Experience with signal processing, machine learning, statistical analysis and scientific reasoning Experience with Root Cause Analysis and Failure Analysis techniques such as hypothesis design and test Knowledge of designing key performance indicators, requirements and experiment design and evaluation Previous experience designing data collection studies, and analyzing data quality and usability is a plus Excellent communication skills; comfortable in a collaborative and cutting-edge development environments Description Description In this role, you will be applying your in-depth knowledge of AI/ML, data science, failure analysis and human physiology to enable statistical analysis and validation of ML models and large datasets. You will be working with other ML scientists, Data Engineering and Integrity engineers, Health Study, Hardware, Clinical, and Regulatory teams to define critical KPIs, develop instrumentation and experiments to analyze large datasets and assist with ML development, failure analysis and root causing underlying issues. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
