Job Requisition ID #24WD76656Position OverviewAutodesk is seeking an experienced and dynamic Principal Project Manager to join our Project Management Office team within the Human Resources, PPL (People & Places) Go-To-Market team!You will report to the Senior Manager, PPL PMO. You will be responsible for leading remote teams on projects and other business initiatives in partnership with PPL partners that support organizational and departmental goals and strategic initiatives. You will offer the opportunity to have a positive impact on the Autodesk organization with exposure and accountability to PPL senior leadership. Location: All Autodesk Locations will be considered but you must have at least a 5-hour time zone overlap with West Coast standard business hoursResponsibilitiesYou will engage in leading complex projects involving change management, and short-term consulting engagementsYou will translate purpose and vision of projects into clear goals for the team; make sure every team member is on board and moving in the right direction and that our requirements are captured and converted into project plans with clearly defined timelines, and key measures of successYou will analyze metrics and trends to evaluate the success of overall project and eventually the ability to translate that into program successYou will anticipate potential risks and implement appropriate remedies to mitigate or remove barriers to project successYou will create project plans, schedules, reports, and dashboards that provide the project team and project sponsors insight into project progress and healthYou will establish relationships to motivate and influence all partners including senior leadership, geographically distributed project team members, team members, and vendorsYou will establish, influence and guide best practices, promote knowledge sharing and close collaboration within the PPL PMO and wider GTM teamYou will develop project management tools and enablement of those tools for the PPL organizationYou will create frameworks for non-established programs and projects as best practiceYou will lead intra-team goals that may be new concepts and include global, executive, and additional audiencesYou may direct other project managers and influence project strategies, tactics and procedures to meet changing needs of partners and the businessMinimum QualificationsYou have a BA or BS degreeYou will have knowledge of project and program lifecycle phases, project management tools and experience managing multiple projects to deadlinesYou have 12+ years of l HR project and program management experience in a global organizationYou are proficient in project management software, such as Smartsheet and Asana, and creating project plans, reports and dashboardsThe Ideal CandidateYou have experience with human centered designYou have experience with online collaboration/facilitation tools, such as MURALYou have a Project management certification or a Change management certificationYou have experience in change management principles, methodologies and toolsYou have experience with HR projects and programs and product management concepts#LI-RB1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $138,200 and $223,630. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
