Job Requisition ID #24WD76889Position OverviewAs a Senior Broadcast Engineer on the Media Productions team at Autodesk, you will work closely with the team to ensure all production equipment is maintained and configured to meet the needs of all live events and video production projects hosted by the company. Ensuring the overall health of our audio and video technologies will be critical to making our employees more productive by enabling them to connect in a rich and meaningful way. You must excel at designing and building robust AV, Broadcast and Studio systems that are interconnected and globally available to support the needs of the business, as well as collaborating with cross functional teams.In this role you will report to the Manager of Media Productions, based in the Bay Area. This position is an on-site Hybrid role. The broader team provides collaboration technology and support that makes our employees more productive including, but not limited to, video conferencing, live event support, video production, post-production, digital signage, wayfinding kiosks, SaaS applications and integrations with Slack and other tools.ResponsibilitiesLead the technology design, implementation, and maintenance within the Autodesk Event, Training & Studio spaces as well as remote location setups for live eventsPartner closely with the various Autodesk organizations to turn short and long-term business needs into high quality, scalable, secure systems to enable Autodesk's critical initiativesBuild a positive relationship with business partners understanding their goals, workflows, and processes. Use your deep system knowledge to drive system strategy/vision, design, and implementation to mutually helpful endsMaintain access control permissions for production equipment and systems for our teamDocumentation and training on new technologiesMaintain inventory and configuration documentation of production equipmentBroadcast Routing & Production Switcher ConfigurationsResponsible for the audio DSP configurations and tuning.Manage production control stations on KVMEnsure production Intercom is available at any office locationManagement of ingest and playout devicesShared storage management (NAS)Serve as the point of contact for network related issuesOperate as EIC (Engineer in Charge) during high profile broadcastsAbility to comfortably step into other production roles as needed (Audio Console, Video Switch, Stream Eng, Cam operator, etc.)Minimum Qualifications8+ years in A/V engineering roles, specifically focused on live broadcast and studio productionExperience working on systems located across multiple locations (ideally globally)At least 4 years of experience handling SaaS collaboration tools (bonus if managed multiple SaaS collaboration applications)Proven track record of having implemented, improved, and supported enterprise class SaaS systems, this includes planning, analysis and design, configuration, development, data migrations, system testing, cutover plan, and production supportDemonstrable ability to work autonomously, manage and lead small to medium projects or parts of larger programs requiring program management involvementSolid grasp of IT fundamentals, including SDLC, agile methodologies, and change managementBA/BS, or relevant experienceExperience in a dynamic, fast-growing environmentExcellent communication skills, explaining complex technical concepts to others comes easy#LI-RM2Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $122,400 and $198,000. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
