Job Requisition ID #24WD75327Position OverviewAutodesk Technical Sales Specialists (TSS) organize and perform detailed presentations of Autodesk D&M products in technical, pre-sales environments, to audiences both small and large while maintaining a great level of energy, enthusiasm, and purposeful innovation. Such engagements are intended to increase revenue, in collaboration with Inside Sales and Channel Partners.As a candidate, you have a consulting mindset, understand the D&M industry and its trends, and be able to uncover customers' needs and communicate Autodesk's solution value. You can count on us to have the tools box and support to deliver proofs of value that help to attract new customers, based on our current success. For this position, we value your manufacturing industry expertise, your years of hands-on design/manufacturing, and the best practices you can teach us.This is a hybrid-remote position, and you should live in San Jose, Costa Rica. You will be reporting to the LATAM Technical Sales Director, responsible of more than 40 countries, and dependent territories in Latam and the Caribbean Islands.ResponsibilitiesHelp qualify new opportunitiesFacilitate discovery workshops of varying sizes with our customers to help uncover business issues/drivers/initiatives and use this information to connect Autodesk solutions to business outcome valueUtilize knowledge of business trends, technology, and industry to identify areas of opportunity for customer process improvementCommunicate solutions to customer at different levels, including product demosBuild a social presence related to technology and the Manufacturing industryMinimum Qualifications5 years of experience in the Mechanical Design/Manufacturing industryUnderstand project workflows from design, estimation, coordination and fabricationKnowledge of industry standards, workflows, data formats and interoperability techniquesProficient in Autodesk Product Design and Manufacturing products: Inventor, Fusion 360, Vault Professional and PLM competitive landscapeBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design or Product DesignComfortable presenting in front of large audiences, requirements gathering and discovery proficiencyMust have credibility and respect at the executive level and be able to connect technically at the user level.
