We are looking for a Manager-Software Engineering to join our Technology team at Clarivate in Noida.This is an amazing opportunity to work in the Intellectual Property Domain. The position will report to a Senior Manager-Technology from hierarchy perspective.About You (Skills & Qualification Required)Degree in Engineering or master’s degree (BE, ME, B Tech, M Tech, MCA, MS).Overall 14+ years of software engineering experience.Minimum 8 years of experience as Tech Lead or Software Development Manager, Agile methodology and Backend development using .NET, NodeJS, and Java.Minimum 5+ years of experience with:Cloud platforms, in particular MS Azure. AWS, Google Cloud Platform and others are also recommended.Frontend technologies like Angular 14+, RXJS, loadsh, , React, JQuery, TypeScriptGood working experience with GIT and understanding on any one of these: Jenkins, TeamCity, and Azure DevOpsCompetent with Entity Framework, Writing SQL queries and also be familiar with SQL server query tuning.Experience with integration techniques (APIs, queues, file based, etc.)It would be great if you also have experience withAutomation systems and data pipelinesTask and basic statistical analysisDesigning multi-tiered or Microservices ArchitectureBreaking down monolithsWorking on the Intellectual property domainWhat will you be doing in this role? As a manager, you will lead the Development teams focused on various applications. Responsible for the management of Software engineering team and Tech leads including their deliverables, growth, and aspirations.Leading a team of 10-15 Software Engineers & leaders and assisting in task deliveries, career progression & delivering as per organization’s manifestoWork closely with Technical Leads on different projects, identifying and addressing obstacles both technical and organizational.Mentoring the colleagues & provide the technical direction.Partnering with QA, DevOps, technology, and product stakeholders to ensure that product deliverables are made with quality and are given highest priority during each delivery cycleOversee agile ceremonies, releases, incident management, and similar tasks.Identify KPIs, tracking them, and ensuring they are kept in acceptable range.Overseeing and supporting creation and designing of new architectural frameworks and Proof of concepts for technologiesAbout the Team The existing team is spread globally with people in Europe, USA, and India. You would be part of Development Group responsible for delivering world class products and innovative solutions in the field of IP.Hours of WorkThe role and employment will be of fulltime with Clarivate. You will be working in IST time zone. 9 hours of work per day including 1-hour lunch break.
