You’ll drive down to the details on the core design and manufacturing that enable our camera and depth modules. We are seeking a Camera Core Technology technical leader to support new and ambitious camera projects.
This role requires ability to explore and understand new areas quickly and take responsibility of high-stakes project objectives amid high ambiguity. Ability to work and lead discussions with highly matrixed, multi-functional teams in a fast-paced environment is vital. The ideal applicant will have direct experience in a majority of the areas listed below with knowledge of the others. Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Senior technical expert in at least one of these technical disciplines: Mechanical Eng, Optical Eng, Manufacturing equipment and process engineering Experience with equipment design and deployment for high volume manufacturing Proven track record of leadership of and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams Expertise in manufacturing statistics/Monte Carlo simulations Experience in high-volume manufacturing of consumer electronics is a plus Description Description - Lead key technical projects in the Camera Core Technology team with resources in a matrix organization
- Projects include all phases of development include camera design concept and tradeoffs, detailed design, equipment development, equipment transfer to production site
- Collaborate with x-functional teams (system, optical, electrical, product safety, firmware, operations) and external partners to accomplish the above with excellent communication and relationship building Education & Experience Education & Experience PhD and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $279,300.00 and $446,300.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
