This workgroup is responsible for conferences, events, and meetings designed for Workday employees, partners, and analysts. These events offer the opportunity to educate and empower attendees, inspire their community, and strengthen the Workday brand relationship.About the RoleShows an eagerness to learn and develop a career in the events industry. Support events of up to 6,000 attendees in a live, digital or hybrid environment.Some experience working on meetings with keynotes, mini keynotes, pre-conference training, breakout rooms, evening events, interactive expo floor and more.Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, venue research; contract negotiation; budget development; expense tracking; staffing assignments; food and beverage coordination; ancillary event management; registration services; team communication; website coordination; creative services coordination; sponsorship creation coordination; technical coordination; speaker management; event logistics; branded merchandise; vendor coordination; photography and post-event analysis.Must be detail-oriented and able to successfully manage multiple, concurrent project demands within established timelines.Operational team support to include tasks such as calendaring, cross-functional timelines, detailed project plans, management of workback schedules, note taking, and assisting with stakeholder briefs.Work with internal teams such as procurement, legal, finance, creative, content strategy, and project management teams to ensure the team follows proper protocols. Ability to partner with a variety of agencies, vendors and software systems. Proactively bring new ideas and improved processes to the team for consideration. Push yourself, your workgroup, and your event colleagues to think differently and produce exceptionally.About YouBasic Qualifications:3-4 years of event experience preferably in a tech company with a very fast-paced setting.Google Workplace Suite, Survey Monkey, digital platforms (i.e. Rainfocus), and project management tools (i.e. Asana, Workfront), mobile application knowledge.25% Travel required.Other Qualifications:Must thrive in a collaborative team approach.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.Workday Pay Transparency StatementThe annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
