Job Requisition ID #24WD76777Position OverviewThe Autodesk Takeoff team, part of Autodesk Construction Cloud, is looking for a motivated and inquisitive software developer to join our team. We are looking for a full stack software developer to join us as we continue to improve the quantification workflows for estimators, add new features to Autodesk Takeoff and support our existing cloud offering as we expand into new markets. This position is remote in Canada.ResponsibilitiesYou will design, develop, debug and test new features and deploy infrastructure changes You will document decisions and code design changes You will collaborate with designers, product manager, architects to improve the product with a focus on the user experienceEnsure new code, feature or software product meets performance goals/metricsWork with a small team, following agile methodologiesSupport the production service by periodically being on-callYou have:Post secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience3+ years of experience working in a software developer roleHands-on experience with JavaScript, Typescript, React, etcHands-on experience implementing unit and integration testsFamiliarity with the software development process, including specification, quality assurance, and documentation Flexibility under changing conditionsPreferred QualificationsExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Cloud FormationExperience working with AWS technologiesExperience implementing SQL queries and managing database infrastructure (PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora, Amazon RDS, or similar) Experience using Docker to build containerized applicationsExperience consuming, implementing REST APIsExperience with monitoring and logging tools (NewRelic, Splunk, etc…)Experience working with and customizing CD/CD pipelinesLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
