Job Requisition ID #24WD76796Job DescriptionAutodesk Identity Access and Management team is seeking a talented and highly motivated individual who loves to find and develop efficient, scalable, and thoughtful solutions to various technical and product challenges. As a team member responsible for building foundational services, you will have the opportunity to lead the team that builds Autodesk’s Identity Access Management Platform. The service is one of the key business enablers serving millions of Autodesk customers daily. It is leveraged by 150+ Autodesk desktop, mobile, web applications, and cloud services and a growing third-party developer ecosystem for managing user authentication, authorization, profile, and entitlements. You will be working on cutting-edge AWS technologies as you build the next generation of Autodesk’s Identity Platform. You will work in a global organization and collaborate with local and remote colleagues from various disciplines like business, engineering, operations, support, etc.ResponsibilitiesWork effectively as a member of the self-organized agile team that builds, owns, and runs the web application and a cloud serviceBuild responsive UIs that work across multiple form factors (web, native desktop, mobiles, etc.)Contribute to all aspects of cloud service development, including front-end, backend, DevOps, and quality.Assist in the operation of the service, e.g. monitoring, alerting, metrics, logging, and troubleshooting.Work closely with the Technical lead, senior engineers, architects, and product owners to understand requirements and translate them into elegant implementations.Use the current system behaviour to identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the scalability, reliability, usability, and security of the system.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science.Relevant 2-4 years of software engineering experience.Excellent analytics skills, troubleshooting skills, and ability to debug complex technical issues involving multiple system components.Deep understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds, and experience with ES6/ES7 features.Experience with Typescript and its benefits in building large-scale applications is highly desirable.Strong grip on HTML, CSS & fundamentals, and experience building modern web and mobile applications.Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues.Good experience in testing frontend apps including unit and automation testing.CI/CD using Jenkins experience is preferred.Understanding of Accessibility and Web Standards. Experience with web technologies catering to accessibility standards (WCAG) and ARIA specifications.Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc is a plus.Expertise in developing web applications using React, Angular, Vuejs, etc. frameworks.Excellent understanding of basic principles of computer programming.Good experience with one or more of the programming languages C#, Go, Java, and Python will be an added advantage.Solid understanding of software design and architectural patterns as well as a very good understanding of cloud design paradigmsProven ability to write maintainable and reusable codeKnowledge in building services with high performance, and high availability at a high scaleThe Ideal CandidateWilling to continuously learn new technologies and driven to adopt best practices.
