Alliance Partner Engineer - GoogleDescription -Job SummaryThe HP Hybrid Systems organization (Poly) is an exciting, fast paced group that is reinventing hybrid work solutions for our customers that enable individuals and teams to collaborate and do their best work whether working remote or in the office. The HS Alliance Partner Engineering team is leading the way by aligning portfolio and product strategy with strategic cloud and application service providers. We collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to prioritize hardware and software product roadmaps to ensure optimal combined capabilities to maximize customer value. The role will primarily support the initiatives related to Google, Dialpad, Ring Central, and AppSpace.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and nurture open lines of communication between HP |Poly and Google engineering organizationsDrive technical alignment cross-functionally within HP (Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Category, Services)Provide input on overall business alignment internally and externallyAccountable for moving HP new product and software solutions through required certificationsServe as the engineering focal point for all partner bugs/defectsCreate and Execute Product Requirements Documents (PRD), reference designs, stories/epics pertaining to partner features and NPIFacilitate communications and support on escalated partner issuesServe as the single point of contact to the partner in support of application design, development, and debuggingCoordinate cross functional teams for launches, events, and key milestones related to the supported partner appHelp with sales training, events, and demonstrationsEducation & Experience RecommendedFour-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competenceTypically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in software designing & development, software architecture, programming languages, or a related field.Knowledge & SkillsStrong presentation and communicationProgram/Project ManagementAndroid ArchitectureCamera and Video Related TechnologyAndroid and 3rd Party APIs and SDKTesting and DebuggingExperience with Programming Language/s Certification (Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar) a plus but not requiredImpact & ScopeImpacts function and leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and will participate in cross-functional initiatives.ComplexityWorks on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.Disclaimer This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
