Job Requisition ID #24WD76879Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Software Development Manager (Technical Consulting) to lead the charge on this mission. You will contribute to helping us build better products that people love to use. You will report directly to the Senior manager of Professional Services Consulting. You will achieve success in a diverse team and operate in a matrix environment. You will oversee external customer projects from initiation through to completion. You will help define consulting strategies which maximise a customer's return on investment and accelerate adoption with all Autodesk solutions.ResponsibilitiesOversee developing, deploying, managing, documentation, and supporting high-quality, reliable applications to meet our needsCollaborate with the business to identify new requirements and lead the technology team to deliver those requirementsPartner with the other application development teams to provide front-to-back solutions that benefit our customersHave an oversight responsibility for related Technologies teams in GDHExperience with application development using the latest technology stack for service-oriented architecture and an understanding of data models for applying these technologiesEfficient defining and meeting Service level agreements to satisfy project timelines and important spontaneous requestsExperience putting together and delivering business and technical presentations Business focusedExcellent team building skillsExcellent project management skillsMust be experienced at Project Risk Management (Identification, Tracking, prevention/handling)Results LeadershipOversee strategic roadmap with Global Delivery Hub to ensure the successful and broad adoption of Autodesk solutionsBuild business plans in collaboration with senior management to align customer and Autodesk goalsEnsure the team delivers services to customersAllow the team to establish excellent collaboration with the wider Enterprise Customer SuccessTechnical LeadershipMaintain competent technical expertise to work with team members and the broader Autodesk technical communityEngage with customers and Autodesk partners to help them meet project requirementsIdentify potential new product solutions that the market will embraceDetermine/champion using standard/inner source components vs building duplicate functionalityHelp with buy versus build decisionsSolve technical issuesConsider trade-offs and risk mitigation optionsIdentify and remove blockers to ensure the delivery of the projectWork with important partners to make project plan course correctionsMinimum Qualifications15+ years of technical leadership experience, out of which 8 + years of product management experience with 5 + years of experience on software and developer platformsExperience managing the delivery of at least one hardware/software product/serviceExperience managing multiple ongoing programmes simultaneouslyExperience of Autodesk BIM 360 and ACCKnowledge of all Autodesk products around Building & ConstructionExperience with Autodesk Platform Services ( Forge/ Forma / Fusion)Collaboration and collaboration experienceExperience in Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe)Experience in planning and prioritise product feature backlog and development for the productExperience in developing detailed product feature specifications and ensuring the agile teams understand themKnowledge in assessing value, developing cases, and prioritising stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategyExperience in serving as the product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions related to the productPreferred QualificationsExperience with value drivers in recurring revenue business modelsFinancial skills, including an analytical and process-focused mindsetProduct Manager certificationExperience of platforms, cloud-native and microservices architecture, design principles and technologiesExperience rethinking/reimagining existing service/application architecture as it is migrated to the cloud.
