As the market leader in deep learning and parallel computing, we are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead exciting and sophisticated software development programs realizing the groundbreaking potential of NVIDIA mobile systems, ranging from self-driving cars, intelligent video analytics, medical imaging, and autonomous mobile robotics. This is a very dynamic space with a lot of program management challenges, and we would like to operationalize it.In this role you will be driving our global software development teams, collaborating closely with a group of engineers and managers dedicated to creating highly optimized software. Join us as we collectively craft the future of technology.What you will be doing:Manage end-to-end sophisticated software programs, leading all aspects of schedules, eliminating obstacles, and ensuring efficient processes from requirements to launch.Plan out software development by following various standards / processes and complete it flawlessly.Anticipate risks, develop risk response plans, and manage risks appropriately.Define program execution metrics and use them to manage the program effectively.Provide concise, precise, effective and actionable communication to senior management.Collaborate with engineering, product management, and multiple functional teams to define, prioritize, and implement features, infrastructure, processes, and workflows.Lead retrospective analyses for identified failures.What we need to see:Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.12+ years of software engineering experience, including 8+ years leading technical programs in a fast-paced environment.Outstanding program management, leadership, and analytical skills to successfully manage complex technical programs in a highly dynamic matrix organization.Exceptional communication skills, demonstrated through the ability to convey information concisely, precisely, and with unparalleled clarity.Exceptional problem-solving skills, demonstrated through proven data-driven leadership and a consistent track record of implementing systematic solutions with precision and ingenuity.Highly skilled in bringing clarity in the face of ambiguity, and delivering the programs autonomously.Ability to think strategically and tactically, building consensus for successful program and project outcomes.Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodology and detailed knowledge of the software development process.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Extensive proven experience in program management or Software development of products using cameras, graphics, multimedia and computer vision technologies.Demonstrated people management skills as an engineering manager in a fast-paced matrix organization.Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new technical concepts as well as hands-on experience of developing and shipping embedded software.Successful experience with developing software within a regulated development environment (medical, aerospace, automotive) and familiar with ISO 26262 / IEC 61508 or equivalent quality/safety processesProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world's most desirable employers.
