As an integral member of our core engineering team, you will take charge of shaping Desktop features to life from start to finish. You'll thrive in our dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment, collaborating closely with Engineering leaders, developers, quality engineers, designers, and product managers. If you're eager to have your talents shine in front of millions of devoted customers, then our team is the perfect fit for you.What you'll do:Mentor and guide high performing engineering teamBe an inspiring leader in building innovative features/experience for new users and C-Pros for Photoshop DesktopPartner with Product, Design and Engineering leaders across geographical boundaries to deliver the "Adobe magic”Drive strategic and tactical decisions which ensures the successful delivery of projectsLead the technical design, vision, and implementation strategyCreate execution plan and lead the engineering team to execute on the visionApply best-practices and coding patterns that ensure solutions are maintainable, modular and of high code qualityDevelop and evolve engineering processes and teamwork models, applying creative problem solving to optimise team efficiencyAttract, hire, on-board and retain top talent. Motivate and develop the team as a player-coach to be a high-performance teamCraft a positive winning culture built on collaboration and shared accomplishmentsPioneer and develop innovative functionalities within the digital imaging fieldWho you are:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science.8-12 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g. C, C++, Java, JavaScript).2 years of experience in engineering and technical leadership with people management.Strong technical skills with experience in designing & developing enterprise applicationsStrong working knowledge of software development methodologies and software design patterns and have experience leading significant software projects/productsProven experience running or leading sophisticated projects through full product delivery cyclesProven track record developing, leading, coaching, and mentoring software engineers and engineering managers towards delivering timely, high-quality software as a teamAmbitious and not afraid to tackle unknowns, demonstrate a strong bias to actionStrong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skillsProven track record in recruiting and building robust teamsSelf-motivated with a desire to mentor a team and the ability to drive the team to accomplish high-quality deliverablesExcellent speaking, writing and presentation skills, as well as the ability to persuade, encourage, and empower othersExperience working with UI Design based software, Desktop Software , C++ preferredAdobe is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and affirmative action employer.
