In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on small projects, learn how to use business intelligence tools to analyze and interpret data, and develop insights that drive business decisions.WHAT YOU WILL GAIN FROM THE INTERNSHIP (OPPORTUNITIES)Gain hands-on experience working on real projects and analyzing client dataDevelop your skills in using business intelligence tools, such as DOMO and ExcelLearn how to identify trends and insights in complex data setsGain exposure to the live entertainment industry, and understand how data analysis can drive business decisionsWork with a team of experienced professionals and learn about the application of data analysis to drive client impactWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (RESPONSIBILITIES)Use business intelligence tools to create visualizations, dashboards, and reports that communicate insights from the dataDevelop an understanding of client data and use this knowledge to identify trends and opportunities for improvementAnalyze sales and demand data to identify trends and recommend pricing strategies Develop and maintain key performance indicators such as margin percentage, expired inventory percentage, and sell through percentage to evaluate personal and company performanceMonitor real-time sales and market data to adjust pricing strategies and ensure client goalsCollaborate with the data analysis team to define and solve problems, and improve data analysis processes and proceduresCommunicate findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders through presentations, reports, and other methodsWHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES)Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field, such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer ScienceProficiency in using business intelligence tools, such as DOMO, Tableau, Power BI, or ExcelStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks and prioritiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with programming languages, such as Python or R, is a plusYOU (BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES) Passionate and motivated.
