The Seller Experience team focuses on end-to-end digital experiences for our sellers, making it seamless to list, sell, and grow a thriving business with eBay. Our Sellers are at the center of everything we do, and our product, engineering, and design teams obsess over building best-in-class experiences that our eBay seller community loves.As a Program Manager for eBay’s Seller Experience - Regulatory team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end program management of our mobile and web experiences in support of the various government regulations that impact eBay’s sellers. We are looking for experienced individuals who have led complex, global, compliance programs to launch, with proven ability to effectively work in a complex enterprise environment.This role requires a strong technical background and understanding of agile product development practices for complex products at a global scale. You must obsessively partner & collaborate both within your core team and with partners. We are looking for driven individuals who get energy from moving work forward, and can drive clarity among complex teams. Our team values center around collaboration, acting with urgency, connecting with sellers, working with integrity and having fun!Responsibilities:Drive Delivery of End-To-End Selling Initiatives. Lead, track and be accountable for the cross functional management and execution of a portfolio of Regulatory initiatives impacting eBay’s Sellers.Proactively Manage Blockers, Risks, & Dependencies. Partner with product, engineering, design, and business partners to identify dependencies, drive decisions, assess risks, and make tradeoffs. Clearly communicate the "why" behind decisions using data and sometimes imperfect information.Drive Operational Excellence Within Your Product Area. Establish and drive a reliable operating cadence for release planning and execution (SOS, sprint reviews, product reviews, etc). Support process improvements and proactively look for opportunities to optimize how teams get work done.Obsessively Partner & Collaborate. Engage with key business partners to ensure product and technical teams prioritize business requirements. Bring cross functional teams together to build product roadmaps; create a plan for detailed and sequenced execution; and drive on-time delivery against roadmaps. Build key partnerships within and outside of the core product to evangelize and communicate plans to address Regulatory demands on eBay.Create Visibility & Accountability Among Senior Leaders. Be a trusted partner for leadership by clearly communicating program updates, including launch status, risks and mitigation plans, and key decisions. Draft Regulatory updates for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.Requirements:5+ years of experience in program management. Experience with online marketplaces and eCommerce platforms is a plus.Experience in customer focused product management and product development lifecycle, with proven examples managing multiple complex, multi-phase strategic programs at scale.Experience establishing and leading teams through multi-disciplinary relationships, including product management, engineering, design and partner program management functions. Examples of cultivating collaboration, strategic alignment and coordinated planning and execution across multiple functions.Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to master concepts and technologies relevant to the program.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and team members across both business and technology.Can thrive in a fast-paced environment and navigate teams through change.Be able to think strategically, while executing tactically.Must have a passion for our sellers and the relentless drive to improve experiences for our sellers, influencing a higher bar on quality and ensuring the seller is always at the center of our product roadmap and priorities. Experience working with design research and qualitative tools to ensure the voice of our seller is at the center of our product development. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
