You will design, develop and lead product management strategies and directs marketing programs for Books Operations. You will track customer segments to identify key needs and appropriate product solutions, then plan, lead and track all phases of the product life cycle, owning the product and its development. Collaborates closely with the product development team to ensure product content is delivered successfully. Create and set the Product strategy against internal investment constraints and customer valuesMaintain a thorough understanding of Product commercials, working with Sales, Marketing & Pricing teams to maintain and improve measured profitabilityWork with multiple levels of Marketing to understand market dynamics, customer priorities, competitive landscape and both short & long term Product value Advocate for the customer in the larger business as part of thoughtful, rational prioritization discussions with senior managementProvide direction as to relevant customer segments to target for research, leading the effort to incorporate focus groups, customer surveys, and user testing to inform product priorities. Create and justifies product strategy, provides new opportunities for major feature/function enhancements, delivering on priorities as established Lead the development and launch of new features and functionality through the entire product development lifecycle, creating a roadmap from concept through implementation and release for existing and new feature setsWith some guidance and support, create detailed product specifications using written requirements, business rules, process flows and use cases; incorporates user experience generated deliverables such as prototypes, wireframes and design and copy documents Partner with both internal and external development teams to drive activities and improvements through the use of user stories, scenarios and commercial models Prioritize and sequence product features and stories using a roadmap to meet market demands Monitors key product analytics to inform development priorities About the TeamYou’ll be working with a great group of internal and external partners working on small company pace with big company backing.
